I just put tile in recently. Will I need to tear it out to install the backsplash? No. We have a way to install the Designer Backsplash over your existing tile. What sizes do you offer? Measure your backsplash area and call us at 972-202-0225. We will be happy to assist in choosing a custom size for you. What is the difference between the tumbled stone and ceramic tiles? Tumbled stone has a porous finish and ceramic is smooth. We find that the tumbled stone shows more detail in the artwork, while the ceramic has more vivid color. Is the backsplash easy to install? Yes. You may do it yourself or hire a tile expert to install it for you. Complete instructions are included. All tiles are lettered and numbered for easy installation. We have a list of preferred installers that you may choose from. What materials will I need? We recommend you use Liquid Nails as the adhesive and GE Clear Silicone to seal zero clearance grout lines. When installing the tile frame a tile saw is required. What if I want grout lines? We recommend using non-sanded grout on grout lines no more than 1/16th wide. Are framing tiles available? Yes. You may order them from us for $10 per running foot. They come in 2 colors. Light beige and dark beige. Are “Accent Tiles” available? Yes. You may choose several styles that will coordinate with your backsplash. Call us. How do I clean my backsplash? You must lightly use a soft damp cloth to clean. Never scrub hard, use harsh cleaners or rough dishrags. Your backsplash should give many years of pleasure.
